The Calender

Just when you thought we couldn't host another event, we've added a few more! It's time to start planning your holidays, and it looks like they're going to be the busiest yet!

Check out our calender:

November:
Thursday the 22nd:
This Thursday brings a whole new thing to the DJ booth, namely Data Takashi, Klassikist and Marc Latilla. Drop by to hear their tunes heating up the dancefloor!

Friday the 23rd:
Expect to experience the break-up party of the year! Richard the Third, will be kicking off with some sa-weet glitch-hop to get your heads nodding, and some foot-tapping electro and punk funk to get your feet moving. DJ Fokolnonsins will be coming thru after midnight to deliver a thrashing set of breaks to get your hands in the air. In case none of this makes any sense, just make sure you’re in front of the DJ booth at 9 sharp and it will all become clear.

Saturday the 24th:
Get ready for the last 90s party of 2007: we bring you 1994! Come celebrate the end of exams, in what is sure to be a break-up party of note! Expect to hear the finest in 90s tunes to keep you dancing the night away! This Saturday the 24th, at Tokyo Star, where else?!

Tuesday the 27th:
We bring the Break Down at Tokyo Star, featuring Darkwing, Fokolnonsins, Ill Type and Dirty Tricks. Sick breaks and R8 tequila - need we say more?

Friday the 30th:
Coming this November 30th, join us to celebrate Tokyo Star’s 5th birthday, but don’t worry about bringing gifts cause we are going to provide the best present of all: imported straight from the UK we bring you the Breaks DJ and Producer Phenomenon that is Krafty Kuts!
Expect an eclectic evening showcasing the wealth of Tokyo Star’s favourite underground DJs and the finest on the breaks scene including Push & Shove and Carfax favourites The Real Estate Agents.
Tokyo Star will be closed for the evening so meet the crew at Carfax to enjoy three dancefloors, moulding what happens weekly at Tokyo into a wicked once-off mash-up of epic proportions!

December:
Saturday the 8th:
Join us for a 1 of a kind evening at Carfax, featuring 2 stages and 1 extra DJ dancefloor for good measure. Expect to see: Home Electric, 5 Men 3 Missing, Closet Snare (C.T.), Unit R (C.T.), Batwings or Crablegs, Atilla and the Honeys, The Shadow Club, The Bang, The Privates, Greenhouseffect and hear the likes of DJs Data Takashi, Mankazam and King of Town!
We have been looking forward to showcasing some of our favourite musicians, including those that pluck strings, twiddle knobs and spin records. You can guarantee a hot night out with a wealth of choices to tingle any discerning eardrum. R70 is the entrance that can hardly be called damage! Presale tickets available from Tokyo..

And that's just the beginning! Stand by for even more to come...

A$k Your L*cal Bar%lad^es - R*byn & K@te

Hey Tokyo Starians!
We've all seen that movie where the down-on-his-luck dude walks into a bar, orders a drink and pours out his soul to an attentive barman. We kind of like the idea, but Tokyo is often too busy for us to listen to your problems and have long chats!

However, we still believe we have loads of advice to give. Write in to us and we'll be sure to help you out! We're offering advice on everything and anything - from girls to guys, from cocktails to sex, from skin problems to hot chili problems, let us help.

Email us at:

tokyostarlive@gmail.com

The response has been phenomenal - we're already receiving letters! Here are the first few replies:

Q: Whenever I come to Tokyo I feel so horrible in the morning - please help?!
A: It is all because you didn't tip last night and karma has come back to kick you in the ass.

Q: I can't seem to pleasure my girlfriend, I think it's because I'm too small...I measured and I'm only 4cms, and all my friends say they're so much bigger. Why is this the case - why me?
A: It is all because you didn't tip last night and karma has come back to kick you in the ass.

Q: I think I may be falling in love with bouncer Mike - he's just so masculine, but has such a gentle touch when he hugs me hello. Do I have a future with him?
A: Bouncer Mike is a loving husband with 3 children, but has much love to go around - the ball is in your court.

Keep those letters coming!
